WaterWeco (R) with automatic incident angle optimization for economical maintenance and management
The flow rate of water channels and sluice gates should be more than 2 CMS, and an effective drop of about 1.5 meters is a guideline for selecting suitable project sites.
Since around 2009, we have been conducting social experiments on standalone micro-hydropower generation in collaboration with local governments and consulting companies, optimizing the Takao Eris Power Plant in Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture, which has been operational since March 2016, and starting coordinated operations in Minami-Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, from December 2024. The turbine was developed in collaboration with Nagasaki University and Nishinihon Fluid Technology Co., Ltd.
